35th ANNUAL ROTARY BBQ, MAY 19th, 2012
 

We hope that you will join us May 19th for our annual Rotary BBQ. This will be a collaborative

Rotary club fundrasier to help support our community projects. The Rotary clubs listed below
will be joining forces to make this BBQ event a fun, friendly, and family oriented day:

ROTARY BBQ EVENT DETAILS:

                              Where:   Central Park, 5th & B Street
                               When:   Saturday, May 19, 2012, 4:30 - 7:30 p.m.

                             Tickets:   Adults $20.00, Children $10.00 (under 12 years)

             Menu: Tri-tip, Turkey, and a new Vegetarian dish

Sides: our famous beans, salad, and rolls

NEW this year! Our first annual Pie Baking Contest 

Proceeds go to Davis Humanitarian Projects

Interested in volunteering for this event?

Attention Volunteers!  The City of Davis Rotary Club's need your help.  This is our biggest annual fundraiser of the year and we would never be able to do it without the help of our wonderful volunteers.  If you belong to a community service club, are a student, or a community member interested in helping out, please contact us right away.  We are looking for several volunteers to help us plan and organize this event.  All proceeds from this fundraiser go right back into the Davis community to support our coummunity projects.  If you would like to be a part of this great opportunity to give back to our wonderful community, please contact our volunteer coordinator at info@rotaryclubofdavis.com.
 

Volunteer positions available:

• Noon Setup; putting out tables/chairs, setting up 
  food lines, helping with food preparation, and related duties.
  
• Food Servers; helping serve food, drinks, deserts, etc., Shifts from 
  two hours or more between 4:30 - 7:30pm.
  
• Carnival Helpers; supervise the jump houses, help run
  carnival events, hand out prizes, and break down after 7:30.
  
• Silent Auction Support; setup tables for auction, arrange
  auction items, help with displays, and other related duties.
  
• Clean Up Crew; help setup trash cans and recycle bins, keep
  tables cleared, remove trash from area, clean up tables.
  
• Break Down Crew; we’ll need help cleaning up, putting tables
  away, empty trash bins, and any other clean up duties.
