Welcome to the ROTARY CLUB OF DAVIS.


This year’s President of Rotary International is John Germ of Chattanooga,

Tennessee. In the latest issue of ”The Rotarian” he tells us that there were only 74

cases of polio in 2015 and all of them in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

He says that it is vitally important to Rotary’s future that our role in the eradication of polio be recognized. The more we are known for what we have achieved the more we will be able to attract partners, funding and active members to do even more.

"We know that if we want to see ROTARY SERVING HUMANITY even better in the

years ahead, we’ll need more willing hands, more caring hearts and more bright

minds to move our work forward.”


I believe that it is vitally important to engage our members in all aspects of

Rotary. We want to serve and enjoy the journey. That means engaging with

youth, supporting the Rotary Foundation and educating our community about

Rotary activities.
