But, due to the current crisis, we will not have any meetings until earliest April 1. Check here to see when we resume our normal weekly meetings.
Here is a message from President Dave Scheirber:
Yolo County's Health Officer strongly recommends that all community organizations, schools, religious organizations, and other entities and event planners cancel any non-essential large gatherings. The Yolo County Health Officer will reassess on or before April 1, 2020.
I believe it is prudent to suspend attendance of our weekly meetings and reassess on or before April 1st. Future meetings will be based on further recommendations following the Yolo County Health Officer's reassessment.
Our 2020 Rotary BBQ will be held on Saturday, May 16.

Welcome to the ROTARY CLUB OF DAVIS.
GREETINGS FROM THE PRESIDENT
Rotarians and the Davis Community:
I’m honored to have been chosen to lead the Rotary Club of Davis as President for the upcoming 2019/2020 Rotary Year! Our Club has a long standing history of Community and International service and I look forward to continuing that tradition through our local District 5160 and Rotary International.
Rotary International has a new President, Mark Maloney from Rotary club of Decatur Alabama, and his theme for the year is “Rotary Connects the World”. Being part of Rotary gives one the opportunity to be part of something bigger than themselves supporting international projects! Just recently, the Club provided a donation and a Davis Rotarian is providing advisory services to the UC Davis Engineers Without Borders Club which is providing sanitation and hygiene facilities for a village in Bolivia.
The Rotary Club of Davis also connects to the Davis community and Yolo County. The Club just recently finished two community service projects with Club financial and labor donations. The first project was Grace Gardens where we assisted with a new irrigation system and the second was a painting project for the Yolo Crisis Nursery. We seek to continue our strong traditions and we seek new members who are interested in community service, international service, fellowship and an outstanding weekly speaker program.
This year will be a special year for the Rotary Club of Davis. We will go through a strategic planning process as we seek to: 1) increase our impact, 2) expand our reach, 3) enhance participant engagement, and 4) increase our ability to adapt to a changing world. I am looking forward to leading this great Club into the future.
We welcome anyone and everyone to come and visit our Club.
