Thank you for visiting our Rotary Club of Davis website.· We hope you find what you are looking for.· If not, please contact us.·

We are one of three Rotary clubs in Davis, California.· Ours, founded in 1926, is the oldest and, with approximately 90 members, the largest.· We meet for lunch and a half-hour program weekly on Monday at the
Fellowship Hall of the Davis Community Church.· We have many activities and projects, including our annual Rotary Barbeque in Central Park in May benefiting numerous local charitable and youth organizations, and our annual Big Night dinner and fundraiser benefiting organizations that seek to prevent· child abuse and encourage good parenting skills.· We also participate in Rotary youth exchange, sending local students to Rotary clubs abroad and bringing foreign students to Davis to promote peace and understanding, as well as numerous international projects, including those involving fresh water facilities, disaster relief, health assistance and promotion of education to those less fortunate than ourselves.

Worldwide, Rotary consists of 1.2 million Rotarians in 33,000 clubs in approximately 200 countries.· The first Rotary club was formed in Chicago in 1905.· Rotary is essentially a grass roots organization with most of our service efforts carried out at the club level.· Rotary clubs are nonreligious, nonpolitical, and open to every race, culture, and creed. Members represent a cross section of local men and women who are business, professional, charitable and community leaders.

Whenever you meet Rotarians, you will be amazed how much the Rotary experience has changed their lives. While contributing to making local communities and the world a better place, Rotarians evolve personally, professionally and spiritually. The personal relationships created among Rotarians, along with their families, are priceless.
